This is a starting point, not legal advice. It describes how this website is built to handle information. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and makes no claim of compliance with any particular regulation. Have it reviewed against your jurisdiction and your actual practices before relying on it.
What this covers
This page describes the information this website collects, why it is collected and what happens to it. It applies to the MUFAD website and the enquiry forms on it.
Information you give us
When you submit an enquiry form, we collect what you type into it:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your country and city
- The type of client you are, and your business or channel name
- Your website and Instagram handle, if you provide them
- The service you are interested in, your budget range and your timeline
- Anything you write in the message field
Every form includes an explicit consent checkbox reading: “I agree to be contacted by MUFAD regarding my enquiry.” We record that you ticked it, and the exact wording you agreed to, alongside your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
When you submit an enquiry we also record where the visit came from, so we can tell which of our campaigns and pages actually lead to enquiries:
- Campaign parameters in the page address (
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_content,utm_term) - Advertising click identifiers where present (
fbclidfrom Meta, gclidfrom Google) - The page you landed on, the page you submitted from, and the referring website
- A general device category, browser name and operating system
We do not store your IP address in readable form. Where IP-based abuse protection is enabled, the address is combined with a secret value and turned into a one-way hash. That hash lets us count repeated submissions from the same source. It cannot be turned back into an address.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry. This is the main reason, and the reason you consented to.
- To manage the conversation. Your enquiry becomes a record in our internal customer system so that it is followed up rather than lost in an inbox.
- To understand which marketing works. Campaign information tells us which advertisements and pages produce genuine enquiries.
- To prevent abuse. Rate limiting and duplicate detection keep automated submissions out of the system.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. It is handled by the services that run this site:
- Our hosting and database provider, which stores enquiries and runs the website.
- Our email provider, which delivers the confirmation email to you and the notification to our team.
- Advertising platforms, where conversion tracking is enabled. What is sent is a one-way cryptographic hash of your email address and phone number, never the values themselves, so the platform can match the conversion without receiving your contact details in readable form.
- Analytics platforms, which receive the page visited and the service category selected. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or message to any analytics platform.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar technologies only where the corresponding tracking identifier has been configured. See the cookies page for the detail.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while there is an active conversation and afterwards as a record of who has contacted us, unless you ask for removal. Abuse-protection records are deleted automatically after 24 hours.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your enquiry and associated records
- Stop contacting you
Write to dm@mufad.in and we will action it.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will remove them.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes to how we handle enquiries will be described here rather than made quietly.
